Clash of the Titans - Part Deux

The first meeting between the two NobleKing Midget teams took place on a Friday night early in January 2014. A disappointing curfew left both teams unsatisfied. Midget 2 was looking for a better result two days later, and was ready for a more decisive result. After a tentative start, Midget 2 took possession of the game, and wrangled a 3-1 win.

4-4 Tie Against NobleKing 1

In the first game of a home and home weekend series, both teams were disappointed when, with the score tied 4-4, the game was curfewed due to time. This did ensure an exciting game to follow in the second game of the series.

5-3 Loss to Thornton #2

Midget 2 had a flat game against Thornton #2 on the same night the team pictures were taken. The team challenged in the second half of the game, but couldn't quite get in reach. We continue in the small rink, where we need to simplify our game. Thornton #2 is a potential match-up in the playoffs, so hopefully we can adjust accordingly.

3-1 Win Against Third Place Beeton

The first game of 2014 saw NobleKing matched up against Beeton. The first time these two teams met, Beeton handed NobleKing its first loss of the year, a 3-0 beating.

This time was different.

Beeton held third place, while NobleKing was in fifth. The Knights played a solid game, with a full team effort. NobleKing won 3-1, continuing their solid play in the last ten games or so.

Grafton Tournament This Saturday!!

First game is 10am Saturday morning. The second game will be at 2pm or 3pm depending upon whether we win or lose.

8-5 Win vs. EG #2.

In their second last game before the holidays, Midget 2 survived an 8-5 defensive struggle to keep their win streak alive.

4-1 Win Against TNT #2

Although the team stumbled last game, they bounced back quickly, notching a decisive 4-1 win against TNT #2.
